Online Internet Business Opportunity

If you are searching the web for things like “small home business opportunity”, the internet is loaded with them. Some are even labeled as “”Scriptural””. In many cases, there is nothing that sets them apart as ”Biblical”. The business may be Christian owned, but runs just like any other business.

Often, these opportunities are from people promoting their own businesses. They want to recruit you to help and many promise great financial rewards. It is an opportunity for you to buy into someone else’s dream!

Don’t get me wrong, most of these people are well intentioned and truly wish you the best. However, the reality is that most people who buy into these low cost business opportunities don’t make any real money. Perhaps you have had that experience – some of you multiple times.

The vast majority of these low cost business opportunities are either franchises (which cost a lot of money to start – such as a Christian Book Store) or affiliate programs (where you promote someone else’s dream, their new business opportunity for a commission).

As a matter of fact, if you do a Google search for “”Scriptural” Business Opportunities”, every single listing on page 1 (except for one) is a directory of ”Scriptural” Business Opportunities.

The owners of these directories are partners of each work from home internet business opportunity they list. They get paid a commission if you click on one of the low cost business opportunities they promote or if you spend any money after clicking one of their links.

While there is nothing wrong with that, you have to wonder whose welfare they have at heart – yours or theirs.

The only listing on page one that is not a directory is from a Pastor who is looking for partners to sell his craft projects – once again you are being asked to buy into someone else’s dream!

I don’t consider any of these to be a “”Biblical”” new business opportunity for 2 reasons:

1. While they target ”Christians”, they all seem to operate within strictly secular business guidelines. This is especially true of the Sponsored Links on the top and right side of the page.

2. Most importantly, when you are searching for any small home business opportunity these results always center on someone else’s vision.

In order for a business to truly be ”Christian”, it must be:

• God Centered: The spiritual life must be focused on God’s priorities and His agenda. Too many Christians function every day in the world’s system or economy. However, as children of God, we can and should live in His economy- especially as we launch any new business opportunity! • Biblical: The Word is full of business strategies which totally contradict the secular way of doing things. The funny thing is that God’s methods work every time. Perhaps you struggle with living the spiritual life. You may even have bought books on spirituality and the meaning of dreams looking for help. In reality, all you need is the Scriptures and some guidance. The biblical secrets will work with any free home business opportunities you may decide to pursue.

• Focused on Your dream: If you are like most people I meet, you have spent years making plans and asking God to bless them. That simply doesn’t work. Jeremiah 29:10-14 tells you that God has plans for you – plans for success, prosperity, hope and a bright future. Any new business opportunity must be based on God’s plans for you – learn what God’s plans for you are and line yourself up with God’s program for success.
